On February 4th we were invited to personally share our project and our local experiences with the Lions Club. Unfortunately, I, Maya, had severe sinusitis. Christine Herzog went to Germany alone and presented it wonderfully. There was only positive feedback from all sides - and perhaps even the prospect of further collaboration.
A few words from Christine Herzog
In order to be able to purchase the 32 goats in Grang, the German Lions Club Hermeskeil Hochwald supported us with their donations. We were closely connected and in contact with the Lions Club project managers throughout the entire time. Nevertheless, the project was always a bit abstract for those who had not yet been there. Therefore, we were invited to give a lecture and present the goat project at a club meeting on February 4th, 2023 in Hermeskeil in the Hunsrück. We presented the planning, the first visits and the ceremonial handover of the goats in the village of Grang. There were around 40 people present and all those responsible for the project from the Lions Club side. The feedback from the guests was that they came closer to the project with the pictures and explanations and that they appreciated association Investing in agricultural projects gives people in poor villages the prospect of being able to generate their income there and avoid having to move to Kathmandu or into temporary work. Therefore, the initiative for further goat projects in the future was received positively.

Thanks to your commitment, we were able to realize the goat project.
