Christine Herzog was in spring 2022 on her journey through Nepal with Narayan in the Langtang area. They visited the village Grang (Kalika Rural Muncipality) by Singi Tamang (mountaineering friend of Narayan), where families of the Tamang Ethnie live. The area was very affected by the 2015 earthquake, people very poor.
This village would be very grateful for help and could use the milk and a few breeding animals to noticeably increase the standard of living.
Breeders were then contacted, the animals were collected and brought to the village - you can find out more about this in the news.
