As in previous years, we continue to support the poorest families so that their children can go to school. Our budget allows us to pay school fees for around 10 children, including books and school uniform. This year we also included two boys in the “program” for the first time, as they would otherwise not receive a school leaving certificate. The children are selected through Arjun, he is Narayan's brother and is responsible for the finances at school. Not only children from Bhumesthan are taken into account, but from the entire catchment area of the school (Fulkarka region).
With this year's payment, our budget has been completely used up. So that we can send 10 children to school again next summer, we would be very happy about a donation to our project!
